Hello, candor

Why we built a site that prints its own scaffolding — and what c4ndor is for.

  • #transparency
  • #meta

We build software the way we’d want it built for us: in the open, with nothing hidden. This site is the first proof of that. It ships zero third-party requests — no fonts loaded from someone else’s CDN, no analytics, no cookies. Open your browser’s network panel and check; we’d rather you verify than trust.

Why “candor”

Candor means frankness — saying the true thing plainly, even when it’s inconvenient. Spell it in leetspeak and you get c4ndor. That’s the whole brand: be the kind of software company that tells you exactly what it does, and then lets you read the source to be sure.

What we’re for

  • Premium open-source software you can self-host and audit.
  • Services — privacy and security audits, self-hosting, and bespoke builds.
  • A standard of conduct — the manifesto we hold ourselves to.

This log will carry release notes, transparency reports, and the occasional writeup. If you want the short version of everything we believe, it’s one line: read the source, then hold us to it.
